ABOUT ANGELA

Angela is a Tanzanian film producer with over five years of experience in the industry. Drawing on strong cultural, traditional, and geographical knowledge of the region, she has collaborated with over 8 international organizations across more than 10 countries. She’s led remote production teams in 8 African countries including Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, South Africa, Uganda, Nigeria, and Madagascar and managed on-ground productions in Tanzania and China, deepening her expertise in both documentary and commercial filmmaking.

In addition to her producing work, Angela is an accomplished scriptwriter and highly effective production coordinator, known for shaping compelling narratives and ensuring seamless execution across all stages of production. Angela is also a graduate of the Durban FilmMart Institute after completing the Business Lab Programme which is aimed at nurturing and empowering filmmakers to develop sustainable careers and equipping them with the necessary skills to effectively engage with a global market.
